Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her leading roles in a variety of television shows as well as her powerhouse performances in movies. Her fan base is large on American and Canadian TV. Emily first became interested when she watched her sister Katie working on a film. Emily began attending classes in acting and auditions following realizing she was passionate about acting. Her first audition was for commercials, but she was not cast until getting a part on the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Fearful of Darkness? The show had one episode where she was unable to talk. Her debut break came around the age of 15 after she was spotted on the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance in the show by WB Glory Days that was cancelled nine episodes later, caught the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily can also be a dancer as well as a photographer. She was listed as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
