Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to score a 10 for competing in the Olympics. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was just six years old. At first, she competed in the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, won. Her first ever international competition in 1972, she came out on top having won three golds. At her first competitive event in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva from Russia took home five gold medals, as well as one silver. She was the first woman ever to successfully perform reverse double saltos when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager she started appearing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol was a part of the entertainment business as a teenager. Her first professional gig was figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment show Ice Capades. The show featured dramatic ice skating shows.
