Katherine Heigl has opened up about growing up within "a the white bubble." She also explains how that realization has affected the way she raises adoptees who are multi-racial. She is the "Firefly Lane" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actor revealed in a recent interview in regards to the color of her skin, she didn't care what she wore however, after speaking with her older sister who was adopted from South Korea, she realized that society was different when it came to each of the two. I inquired of Meg if, when she was out with her parents she got a particular treatment while out on her own she got a completely different one. Meg said, 'Oh, sure, I've seen it all and I've been there all the time! Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had resulted in me feeling." Heigl said she got upset and believed it was important to focus her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl has a son who is four years and Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is an Black 8-year old girl that they adopted in 2012.
